Jen+Rob : Homegrown Orange County Engagement

This is why I do what I do. My adorable friend from high school Jen gets back in touch with me after 10 years (!), shares her engagement news, learns I love photography, and subsequently books us right away. After meeting up a couple of times to discuss her wedding plans ... we realize that although so much time has elapsed since we last hung out, we still remember (and look back and laugh at) many of the things we used to do like it was a month ago. Thats pretty cool.

Born and raised in Orange County, Jen and Rob wanted to stage their engagement portrait in a setting that reflected what they see and do on a regular basis. They live walking distance to Old Town Orange ... so we started out by wandering around the old buildings and alleyways before impulsively heading out to find some quintessentially-orange county wildflowers. We were in luck, the flowers are going nutso just east of Laguna right now.

We had such fun time wandering and exploring with these two ... and by the look on their faces, they had a pretty wild time too :). We love love love the way they laugh together! Their energy is so strong, we know we are going to get plenty of goodness out of them on the wedding day.

On a scale of one to ten ... with one being finding a book according to the dewy decimal system and ten being attending a rave on the moon ... these two are an eleven (!)
