Kate + Adeeb : Calamigos Ranch, Malibu

We had so much fun photographing Kate and Adeeb's wedding. They both artists and work in LA on hit tv shows, so we brought a little cinematic style in to capture all subtle moments and vintage ranch details. There were a ton of beautiful, simple, nostalgia-conjuring details throughout the whole wedding. details Kate's veil is her grandmothers ... and almost 100 years old (!). Our good friends Jon and Irena (photographer and make-up superstars) were also there to celebrate in the festivities.

Congratulations to you guys!!

Bonnie and Cabe's Save-the-Date

I wanted to show off the save the date I just received from my uber-cool cousin in Santa Barbara. Its really simple, but expresses them perfectly! Its two images enlarged from a classic photobooth with subtle black borders and white font. Slick!

Leanne and I are really excited for their wedding this summer. The ceremony is going to be at the Santa Barbara courthouse (in the Mural Room) followed by a reception at the Maritime Museum. Perfect choice for them ... it'll really reflect their vintage-california style. More on that later!

Frankencamera

Totally up my alley. I am currently building my own camera ... stay tuned for photos ... but it will have no technology (especially not the level these Stanford guys are putting in to theirs!). Its really interesting to see where digital cameras will go in the next few years.

Has it really been one year!?

One year ago from this day Paul and I went to New York City to get married in Central Park. It was the most wonderful experience of my life. We exchanged our vows at Bethesda Terrace where two staircases led down to a fountain and lake. It was so amazing to be there with Paul with our friends and family surrounding us. Special thanks to Jill Sargeant (Paul's little sis) and Chris Gagon who dazzled us with their musical talents, to Judy Guild who performed the ceremony, and to our good friend and amazing photographer Joey Skibel who documented our special day.

After our wedding we flew off to Paris for some Honeymoon adventures... Oh yes, and a wedding self-portrait session! Okay.. we weren't allowed to photograph our own wedding but there's no law against shooting the honeymoon right!? It was so much fun! Paul and I got re-dressed in our wedding garb, practiced some key phrases en Français, and pranced around Paris taking photos. (By the way we owe you gorilla pod!)

Thanks for joining me to reminisce. Here's to one year down and many more to come!
